Community Organizations Have a Role to Play Too!

There are many reasons for clinical providers to consider adopting The Undetectables viral load suppression program at their sites:

Access comprehensive resources and support.

Through the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, agencies that adopt The Undetectables access a wide range of information, tools, and opportunities for training and technical assistance to ensure that they implement the program successfully.

The proof is in the numbers.

The Undetectables has been demonstrated to promote durable viral load suppression among HIV-positive individuals.

This is how we will end the AIDS epidemic in New York State.

The Blueprint for Ending the Epidemic sets a goal of reducing new HIV infections to 750 per year by 2020. That means we need to help more people get tested and connected to care today!

What Does It Take?

When organizations choose to implement The Undetectables, they are committing to fight the AIDS epidemic on behalf of their clients and their community. To succeed in this effort, each agency must meet the minimum requirements for effectively implementing the viral load suppression program:

  • Offer clients access to HIV primary care and comprehensive supportive services
  • Be located in New York City
